WHAT IS RUSH?
Rush is a two week recruitment period compiled of Sisterhood, Philanthropy and Social events to to get to know potential sisters. Individuals interested in joining Xi Delta Theta are encouraged to come to as many events as possible to meet sisters and learn about what Xi Delta Theta is about. After this 2 week period individuals may receive a bid, and be invited to our preference party to get to know sisters better.
IS THERE HAZING?
Xi Delta Theta has a zero tolerance hazing policy. Safety and wellbeing of our Sisters, Rush, New Members and Greek community is a top priority for us always.
CAN I RUSH IF I DO NOT GO TO CARLETON UNIVERSITY?
Yes! Xi Delta Theta is proudly represented by sisters on campuses at University of Ottawa, Versaille academy, Algonquin College, Carleton University and others. We accept individuals from all post secondary institutions in Ottawa.
HOW MUCH ARE DUES?
Xi Delta Theta prides itself on being a local chapter this insures dues are a fair price for all members. Each year dues are subject to change based on various factors. We also offer payment plans and can accommodate situations members may face in terms of finances.
WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF GOING GREEK?
Going Greek provides unique experiences for everyone. Sisters of Xi Delta Theta have created lasting friendships both within the sorority and with other individuals. Xi Delta Theta paves the way for learning and growing through each sisters post secondary journey.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO BALANCE SCHOOL AND SORORITY?
Promoting scholarship is part of being a sister of Xi Delta Theta, school is always first priority. Our scholarship chairs ensure all of our sisters are in good academic standing as well as offer support if school becomes overwhelming.
